Have you canceled your policy but still noticed a payment debited from your account? Don’t worry – any overpaid premiums will be refunded to you!
Why was the payment still debited?
If you cancel your policy after the 25th of the month, it’s possible that the SEPA direct debit for the following month has already been processed. This is due to the system processing SEPA transactions in advance.
How does the refund process work?
- Your cancellation will be processed for the requested date.
- Any overpaid amounts will be automatically refunded within 3-7 business days.
- If you don’t receive the refund after 8-10 days, please contact us via email at info@mawista.com, including your MAW number, so we can look into it for you.
Important:
Please do not revoke the direct debit. Revoking it may delay the refund process and cause additional effort.
