What to do if your insurance card has not arrived yet?
Even if your insurance card has not arrived yet, you can still receive medical treatment. Simply present your insurance documents or insurance confirmation to the attending doctor.
Important notes:
- Signature: Don’t forget to sign the card in the designated field on the back after receiving it.
- Not a payment method: The card does not allow direct payments for doctor visits, medication, or other healthcare services – these functions are reserved for statutory health insurance providers.
- Not available for all plans: The card is only available with the Student Classic Plus, Student Comfort, Expatcare Comfort, and Expatcare Premium plans.
